Rapid index

1. Lighthouses for Golf 6, 7, 7.5 and 8

The Fuzion range includes, according to availability, front headlights, rear lights, LED versions, dynamic arrows, smoked finishes and design inspired by the most recent generations.

Golf 6, Golf 7, Golf 7.5 and Golf 8 Automatically shares the same headlights. Even within the same generation they can change year, restyling, set-up and original technology.

2. Compatibility: What to check

Control Because it is important
Golf generation Golf 6, 7, 7.5 and 8 use different shapes and connectors.
Year and restyling Pre-restyling and restyling may not be interchangeable.
Original lighthouse Halogen, Xenon, LED and Full LEDs can request different versions.
Connectors They must correspond to the planned configuration.
Guide to the right or left The beam must be suitable for the country of circulation.

Before order it is useful to send photos of the original headlights, year, version and type of plant. Compatibility must always be confirmed on the specific product sheet.

3. Empty headlight or full fondo lighthouse

Empty lighthouse

It is indicated for those who already own compatible components or want to manage lamps and configuration independently.

Complete lighthouse

Includes, where provided, a configuration designed by Fuition with dedicated lamps or kits. Reduces the risk of buying components physically installed but not suitable for the lenticular or the structure of the lighthouse.

Important:
preparations, finishing and dedicated kits apply only to the complete configurations indicated in the card. An empty purchased lighthouse is supplied according to the planned configuration.

4. Dedicated lamp kit

Physical attack and good rendering are not the same thing. A lenticular can request a lamp with specific geometry, footprint and focal point.

When the lighthouse is supplied complete, fume chooses lamps or kits consistent with that structure, avoiding random solutions that could produce short light, uniform or difficult to adjust.

5. Preparation and control in Italy

On some complete FIZION configurations can perform controls, finishes, lamp mounting, internal improvements or replacement of expected components, such as more suitable adjustment motors.

The actual processing depends on the model and is described in the product tab. Not all the headlights receive the same interventions.

6. Plug and Play installation

The headlights proposed as a plug and play are designed to connect to the vehicle without structural modifications, according to declared compatibility. This does not mean that the disassembly is always simple: it is often necessary to remove bumper, grid or coatings.

A correct installation includes:

  1. product verification before assembly;
  2. control connectors and wiring;
  3. assembly without tension on the body of the lighthouse;
  4. uniform tightening of fixings;
  5. test of all functions;
  6. final beam adjustment.

7. Coding: when it really takes

Fuzion configurations declared plug and play are designed to work without additional encodings when installed on the compatible version. However, vehicle, installation and original system must correspond exactly to what is expected.

We must not extend the promise of absence coding to different versions or unfolding conversions.

8. Adjusting the light beam

Even a new lighthouse must be adjusted after installation. Vehicle height, assembly tolerances and position of the records affect the result.

A beam too high dazzles; Too low it reduces depth. A check with a professional instrument is recommended.

9. Condensation or infiltration?

A slight temporary fancing can appear for temperature and humidity differences and can disappear with normal use. Persistent drops, stagnation or water on the bottom indicate a possible infiltration instead.

What to check

  • correctly closed rear caps;
  • integged gaskets;
  • non-obstructed vents;
  • connectors and cable steps;
  • cracks or bumps on the body;
  • assembly without deformations.

Do not indiscriminately seal the vents: the lighthouse must be able to manage internal pressure and humidity according to its design.

10. Rear lights and dynamic arrows

The rear lights can include LEDs, animations or dynamic arrows. The functions depend on the specific version and must be verified in the card.

Before assembly it is advisable to try all the functions: position, stop, reverse, rearbogen and direction indicators.

11. E-Mark, ECE and road use

When indicated, the headlights show approval markings for the specific version. The marking must be verified on the product and in the card.

Physical compatibility, approval of the component and correct use on the vehicle are distinct aspects. Destination of use and regulatory of the country must always be considered.

12. Common errors to avoid

  1. Choose only based on the external form.
  2. Confuse golf 7 and golf 7.5.
  3. Ignore the original type of lighthouse.
  4. Buy generic lamps for a specific lenticular.
  5. Mount without trying the functions first.
  6. Force connectors or fixings.
  7. Do not adjust the beam.
  8. Exchange temporary condensation for infiltration or vice versa.
  9. Close vents with silicone.
  10. Presume compatibility with inverted versions.

13. Fuition and warranty assistance

The customer does not buy only a lighthouse. Fuzion offers support in the verification of compatibility, in the choice between empty and complete headlight and in the management of any anomalies after assembly.

The headlights are covered by warranty 2 years according to the conditions indicated. In case of problem, photos, videos and tests of the individual functions are useful.

Before installing:
compare the two headlights, check connectors and try all the functions. This simplifies any assistance and reduces disassembly times.
